My Meeting with Sherry

As most of you know, I met Sherry through signing up for Sharon Boggin's USA tour that will be going on next year. She seen I was from Bald Knob, and that is where she used to live. She lives in Little Rock now. Well, we have been emailing each other for a while now and we finally got the chance to meet. I was so looking forward to that. We had a very nice time together. We had lunch or should I say brunch, we both liked the sound of breakfast better. And we talked and Oh her CQ work is awesome. I think I may have been drooling. (g) It was so great getting to meet her. I couldn't believe all the neat CQ things she gave to me. I was in awe. I wasn't expecting that, but let me tell you I love everything she gave to me. It was like Christmas morning. I got an email from her, and one of her friends who lives in Searcy wants us to start stitching together. So we are going to set up a time to do that. This is going to be so much fun. Sherry said we would start our own little CQ group. I am all excited!!! Thanks again Sherry for all the wonderful things!!

Thelma,
Thank you for visiting my blog. I love yours and am so jealous that you met Sharon B. I have a really stupid question to ask you, what are those pieces of paper with pictures that you have in your post? I received one in a baggie exchange and don't know what to do with it.
(Don't you laugh at me now) After all, I am a newbie.

Hello Carroll,
I haven't got to meet Sharon B yet, hopefully will get to meet her next year on her USA tour.
Your question is not a stupid question. Those pieces of paper are cigerette silkies. I will email you personally and explain how to use them. This is my first ones to get and can't wait to use them in a block.
