First CQ Block

This is my very first CQ block that I done about 2 years ago. As you can see, no seam treatments. This is a picture of my 22 yr old son who is in the National Guard. He was 18 at the time this picture was taken. I used my stamper to stamp the praying hands. It represents God's saftey while Eric was in Iraq. And of course our flag up in the left corner. Between the camera and the computer it is showing the wrong color on the blue, it is actually purple. (I like the blue this shows though). These are some fabrics I collected when I decided I wanted to learn Crazy Quilting.
