Spring block Swap

Drum roll please! My first start to finish cq block. I am very pleased with this block. Hope whomever gets it is happy with it. It's hard to let this go, but it will be heading off in the mail this week. In our CQ4Newbies group we are doing a spring block swap. I am very slow. But at least it is finished. (g)

I love your block, Thelma! The watering can, the plant growing out of the clay pot into the next piece and the flower on the right are some of my favorite areas. I'm not a crazy quilter but sometimes I see blocks like this and I wish could. Thanks for posting.

Elizabeth,
Thank you so much for the compliment on my block. I never thought I could do this, I bet you could. Just a little practice on the different stitches and you would be amazed at what you could do. (g)

Jane,
Thank you so much, it was so much fun. I was so nervous at first, then as I went along it all just came to me. I really hate parting with it but now that I know I can do it I will make me one some day.

Thelma, how beautiful! I love to see what others are creating in CQ'ing! And this, my friend, is a beauty! I have a question? How did you do the quotation on the block? Is is ink? Embroidered? And if so, what stitch did you use? I'd love to add some words and text to a few of my future projects. Thanks in advance, for any assistance! I greatly appreciate everyone so kindly sharing their knowledge with me...

Thanks Cathy,
It is embroidered. I used the back stitch on it.
