Fun Day of Dyeing

Finally got the chance to dye some fabrics. I have been wanting to do a 66 step pyramid. Well, I am almost half way there. This is the first three rows of them. I used Turquoise, 12 Light Red, and 3A Clear Yellow. This was fun. One more setting and I will have them done.

Wow hon, the material is gorgeous! I love the colors. Also that kitten on your block is too darn cute! How creative!

Thanks JK! It's a color study I am doing. I still have 36 more different colors to get dyed. (g) Can't wait to see what they will look like.

Since it's a class I probably shouldn't ask but are the dyes procion? What type of material is it calico, or white homespun? Who's the class with? Now after being so nosy, what a fantastic job, the colours are so vivid. It's going to be a great project. Annette

Thanks Annette,
This wasn't a class, just an experiment using red, blue and yellow using different measurements of the colors. Got the info from a dyeing group I belong to.
Yes, these are procion Mx dyes. So far that is all I have ever dyed with. I used P&B Dyers cloth.
